"As most of you know I am very picky about my headphones and have had trouble finding a pair to suit me lately. Well I got a pair of Rat phones from Rick at Detect USA a couple of days ago and got to try them out today. These headphones are awesome! I could tell the difference in good/bad, deep/shallow and iron targets. They knock out all of the surrounding noise and you can really hear the deep small targets with them. I can honestly say that these phones are as good if not better than some I've tried lately costing $100 and more. Check 'em out because those of you that know me, know that I don't push anything unless I am very satisfied with the product. Thanks Rick!"
"I received the RatPhones that I won in a contest a couple of weeks ago and I've just now had a chance to put them to the test. I must say they are some high quality phones! I've been loyal to my [other brand] for several years…I really know their sound. I even tried a few other brands, but have always gone back to the [other brand]. The Ratphones construction seems to be a bit more solid and sound quality and pitch range were great. I think the [other brand] are moving to backup status. "I just got the new RatPhones, wanted to post my impression of them. As far as volume they are comparable to any other top notch phones out there. Where I found them really outstanding is in differentiating the tones. The RatPhones did the best job of the phones that I currently have of separating tones between signals, or making different targets sound different. You can really hear the difference, even compared to [another particular brand], which are outstanding in this regard. To rate them all I'd say: #1. RatPhones – cheapest phones price wise, best tone separation of anything I've heard so far. Top notch great value for the money. I'm planning to go with the RatPhones because of their outstanding ability to differentiate tones."

"Thanks for the prompt shipping, they look and fit great. I have done a little air testing and my 6" quarter in my test bed rings REAL NICE!!!! My old phones (now backups) just killed me, they pinched my head and ears and after several hours would give me a terrible headache These new headphones block out a lot more exterior noise than I am used to, as much as my shooting muffs."

"Got the RAT phones today and I was very pleased with the design. Plugged 'em into my Tejon- I LOVE the sound! I am impressed with these phones! Super smooth audio with a pleasant tone, not "tinny" at all like some of the other high end detecting headphones. Audio is so clean, it allows my machine to pinpoint more precisely, resulting in more good targets dug. My Tejon speaks a rich language and the RAT phones take full advantage. These phones seal out most all ambient noise and are very comfortable- no fatigue problems here. I love the fact that the coil cord is replaceable. I like the way the phones fold up. The warranty is outstanding. I have tried many other headphones, including several audiophile models- the RAT is where it's at!"

"Spent a little over 1 hour on the beach … found my usual clad but the main reason was to give the RaTPhones a tryout. They worked as good if not better than my K***, G******** and T*********** headphones. I especially liked the ear cups. They fit nice and snug around the ear and no leaking of noise from the waves. They also were comfortable with no ear fatigue or sweating. I was using the XLT. Thanks for a good product"

"One word: Awesome! I use a White's DFX & I never knew what I’d been missing. Literally! I picked up on targets/signals that I was missing with the phones that came with the detector. Also, the Ratphones fit great, (don't hurt my ears), and block outside noise. The quality was evident as soon as I opened the box.

"The second I put them on I knew these were going to be a pleasure to wear. They fit perfectly. They are comfortably light and don't slip off my head when I bend over,, and the sound is crisp and clear. Can't get any better than 20 to 20,000 Hz. Two excellent features are the way they fold into a neat tight unit, plus the convenience of a cord that can be disconnected. The individual volume controls are a nice touch too. Thanks for a great product.

"My "Limiter" Ratphones came today. I am very pleased with them, and your good service. I rate you and your products A-1. These phones are Great!!! The limiter works the best of any I've tried, beating K***** **** and B**** ******. The new volume controls are real high tech smooth and stay put in any setting. I like them a lot. Of course with your great sound quality and extended frequency (low tones) they are a real pleasure to use. I predict these to become my main headphones. I'll try them out tomorrow at place where I found a seated liberty dime on Tuesday. Oh and Yes they do work on the Discovery Treasure Baron! What more could I ask for? "
