The Bounty Hunter Discovery 3300 Metal Detector is actually a competent metal detector. Unfortunately Bounty Hunter puts out a number of low cost Metal Detectors that are not nearly of this quality and 1 or 2 that are basically toys so people don't take them seriously.
The Bounty Hunter Discovery 3300 Metal Detector is a turn on and go detector that is decent.
But to be honest, I would take Either the
- Garrett ACE 150
- or Garrett ACE 250
- or Fisher F2
- or the Teknetics Alpha 2000,
All in this price range , over this detector without hesitation.
Its not that this is a bad detector. Its not. Its a good Metal Detector. Its just that the newest competition is that much better!. To be competitive this would have to be priced under the ACE 150 at $150 before I would consider the Bounty Hunter Discovery 3300 Metal Detector.
That said the detector works find AND WILL find buried treasure like coins, Jewelry, Gold and Silver.
